This is the third FOURTH installment of an event some say began before the dawn of recorded history. Others say it was in the 1990s. Both are correct.
The 1990s version featured old-timey things like flip phones and "writing things down".
The 2019 version featured old-timey things like going into stores and coming within 6 feet of other humans.
The 2020 version, aka the scAVENGERS 1.0 was in the spirit of COVID-19, and required all players to wear fully compliant hazmat suits and breathing apparatus (i.e. little cloth masks).
The 2023 version will be a little more relaxed. Masking is optional but if this is your preference then please go right ahead and wear one. Or two, why not?
The actual event requires you and your team to answer a set of clues within a pre-determined time period (as in hours, not as in Edwardian or Jurassic) using your mobile phone and your knowledge of world geography and/or Google.
You have to register your team before you can play.
All players and teams will meet at 26 Fenwood Hts at 10:30 AM for some smack talk friendly chit chat followed by some instructions and a quick Q&A session, and then the hunt will begin at 10 AM.
Inspired by the inspirational pep talk, you and your team will head out onto the course to solve the clues.
Everyone will have 3748 hours to complete the clues.
AT 3 PM we all meet at the Olde Stone Cottage on Kingston Road and you get to vote for your favourite photos. The team with the most votes and the most correct answers will be the winner. One vote per photo, per team.
You have an hour to make your votes count.

This event is totally FREE, but you will need to purchase some small items for some of the clues. Total spend will be under $20.
